Kane Fulton is a technology journalist, photographer and community manager based in Leeds, Yorkshire. He is originally from Hull.
This website is his photography blog where he shares his latest work and personal photography.
Kane is currently Entrepreneur Engagement Content Manager at Tech Nation. His role involves overseeing and editing all community content on Tech Nation's National Network pages while mentoring the organisation's 11 regional Entrepreneur Engagement Mangers.
Aged 18, Kane founded and edited a music website for five years. After gaining an NCTJ Journalism qualification, he developed an interest in tech journalism and joined London-based B2B magazine Information Age in 2012.
He then switched to B2C to take up a role as TechRadar's Computing Editor, writing and commissioning PC hardware reviews and software guides. Kane has also contributed pieces to Computer Weekly, T3, Computer Active, TechRadar Pro and Guardian Online.
The lure of Leeds became too strong to resist and, after returning in 2016, Kane embedded himself in the city's burgeoning digital tech startup ecosystem. He joined Tech North as Yorkshire Community Manager, progressing to his current role at Tech Nation two years later.
Today he interviews founders from startups, scaleups and corporates across the UK, develops resource guides for digital tech workers and helps Tech Nation's Entrepreneur Engagement Managers produce content.
Outside of work he created and runs the Yorkshire Startups Facebook group.
Formerly an avid gamer (and still partaking when he can find the time), he holds an interest in VR and records Oculus Quest gameplay clips for his YouTube channel.
When not doing any of the above he can usually be found jogging, watching boxing or recording guitar-based music for his SoundCloud page.
